The warmth of being in the arms of someone you love.

Spend those sleepless nights by reading our chats.

For flirting with me to make me,

More aware of sugar coated lies.

For ignoring me in my tough times,

To make me strong to fight alone.

For making those fake promises to tell,

That all promises aren’t meant to be kept.

For all the if’s and but’s to make me realize,

That love never complains or delays.

For making those “together forever” plans to make me realize,

That “forever” is not “ever”. Even it, is transient.

For not respecting my feelings to warn me,

Through your memories, every time I open up to someone.

For not loving me,

To give me, true definition of love.

For the betrayal to help me,

Find myself whom I lost while loving you.

So that I can love myself.
